How Is Rigid Box Made

Sizing

Begins with a flat chipboard, typically at least 800gsm thick, which is precisely cut and scored to the required dimensions.

Folding

The chipboard is folded along the scored lines to create the base shape of the box. This step forms the walls.

Taping

Once folded, the edges of the chipboard are secured with tape to reinforce the box's skeleton.

Printing

A design is printed onto the substrate. The substrate may also undergo additional treatments like lamination.

Wrapping

The printed substrate wrapped and glued around the chipboard structure, creating a clean, polished edge at the opening.
